Paul Robinson is a CPA, the co-owner of Robinson & Ward, PC and a Charter Global Management Accountant. For the past 30 years, Paul has been an adjunct faculty member for University of Alaska Fairbanks Community and Technical College. Paul is currently on the Fairbanks North Star Borough Economic Development Commission, the Chancellor’s Community Advisory Committee, and a member of University of Alaska Fairbanks Economic Opportunity Task Force. He has been actively associated with Alaska’s Small Business Development Center and Fairbanks Economic Development Commission. Previously a board member of Fairbanks Resource Agency, President of United Way of the Tanana Valley and the Campaign Chair when the annual campaign exceeded $1 million for the first time. He’s also been an Instructor for the Small Business Development Center, Instructor for Fairbank’s Chamber of Commerce Leadership Institute, Rotary, Black Rapids Restoration Project, and Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce Membership Committee.
Paul has received many honors and awards, including the Alaska Society of Certified Public Accountants’ Public Service Award, Volunteer of the Decade Award from the Small Business Development Center, and Alaska Financial Services Advocate of the Year for the U.S. Small Business Administration.

Kelly Ward is a CPA, the co-owner of Robinson & Ward, PC and a Chartered Global Management Accountant. Kelly is also an Enrolled Agent. In addition, Kelly has been an adjunct instructor at UAF’s CTC since 2008. She received her Bachelor’s in Accounting from Mississippi State University and her Masters in Business Administration from UAF.
Kelly currently serves on the board of the Alaska Society of CPAs. She also is the chair of the AKCPA Financial Literacy committee and serves on the Leadership and Relations with Education committee. Kelly is also active in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants on the Financial Literacy and Student Recruitment committees.
Kelly volunteers as a SCORE! Mentor and is active on the AICPA Young Owners/Decision Makers Networking group. She has been an AICPA Accounting Competition judge, an AICPA Legacy Scholars Application Review Volunteer, and since 2013 has been an AICPA Legacy Scholars Coach. Ward has graduated from Leadership Fairbanks, Inspire Leadership Academy, AKCPA Leadership Academy, and the AICPA Leadership Academy. Kelly’s passion for financial literacy is communicated as a workshop presenter for many organizations including the UAF Cooperative Extension and Alaska Small Business Development Center.
Kelly was recently named a 2016 CPA Practice Advisor’s 40 Under 40 in Accounting.
Brenna joined the Robinson & Ward team in June of 2010 and as grown with the firm since. She works as an Admin for the firm, assist with corporation maintenance, and does bookkeeping for some clients. Brenna graduated from North Pole High School in 2014 and has attended the University of Alaska Fairbanks. She is currently taking a hiatus from schooling to find her passion in life.
Brenna is a lifelong Alaskan and enjoys spending her free time outside hiking and fishing.
Brynina has been with Robinson & Ward since 2010 as an Administrative Assistant. She enjoys meeting and helping clients and is a people person. She enjoys having a fact for a name and likes the fact that she can remember clients. Brynina was the 5th generation to be raised on her family’s cattle ranch in northeastern California. She earned her AS degree in Animal Science before changing direction working six years as a heavy equipment operator.
Brynina is an outdoor person and believes the only way to truly appreciate Alaska is to get out and be in Alaska. Her family goes camping every weekend they can. She enjoys gardening, boating, fishing, and hunting.
Brandy has been working with clients at Robinson & Ward since October of 2015, shortly after moving to Alaska from California. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Business from California State University, Fresno and over 22 years of professional accounting experience in the private sector. At Robinson & Ward, Brandy assists clients with bookkeeping and payroll processing needs, and enjoys helping them clean up and organize their bookkeeping and payroll processing for a more stress-free and informative business experience.
Her personal life is busy raising two sons and traveling as much as she can.
Marcela is a staff accountant at Robinson & Ward and joined our team in February 2016. She was born in Nisporeni, Republic of Moldova, and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Economic Sciences – BBA at Moldova State University, and later moved to the United States in June 2009. Currently, Marcela is studying Accounting at University of Alaska Fairbanks.She fluently speaks Romanian, Russian and English language. (Knowledge of French language as well)
During the winter months, Marcela enjoys ice skating and in the summer time she likes to hike.
Hayden Nilson joined the Robinson & Ward team in January of 2016. Hayden graduated from the University of Alaska Fairbanks in 2016 with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting and a Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance. In addition, he is currently pursuing his CPA license. Hayden is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Alaska Society of Certified Public Accountants (AKCPA).
During the winter months, Hayden enjoys playing hockey, and in the summer months, he enjoys his time outside either at a lake or on the golf course.
Jennifer has been with the firm since July of 2012. She was born and raised here in Fairbanks. Jennifer spent four years in Florida attending Florida Gulf Coast University and completed her Bachelors in Accounting at UAF in 2008. Jennifer has worked in the accounting industry since graduation and has experience in both private and public fields.
In her free time, she enjoys the Alaskan outdoors and traveling as much as she can with her husband.
