Position Summary:
You will be working in the fast-paced and dynamic accounting firm of Robinson & Ward, PC focusing on providing exemplary customer service to our diverse clientele as the primary Client Care Specialist. You will be the first impression our clients receive when they call or visit our office. The right person for this role is a people-person who never meets a stranger, someone who can easily multitask, is organized, values a good work ethic, and is always willing to jump in and help other staff in need. You will enjoy teammates who truly care for their clients, have a great work-life balance, and work together for the betterment of their clients and RWCPA. This is a full-time, hourly position.
Job Duties:
- Serve as first point-of-contact for clients in office
- Perform the lead role on phones
- Manage the fax folder and distribution of incoming client faxes
- Step in as backup for compiling and billing
- Complete quarterly compiling
- Retrieve and process ShareFile notifications daily
- Submit RightSignature requests to clients
- Transfer reviewing of returns with clients to other CCS member
- File away completed E-files
- Check drop box daily
- Handle binding postage
- Setup coffee station daily
- Special projects
Experience:
- 2 years proven experience as an administrative assistant, receptionist, or relevant role
- Proficiency in working with multiple phone lines
- Computer literacy with competency in Microsoft Office
Skills:
- Taking initiative- we are big on teamwork during our busy tax season and taking action by jumping in to lend a hand is highly desired
- Willingness to learn- we encourage staff taking webinars/courses to hone in applicable skills, and our software changes as we make improvements to our processes
- Ability to provide First Class service to clients- we have a very strong, dynamic partnership with our clients, and all our staff are expected to interact with clients accordingly
- Willingness to bring in fresh ideas and speak up when processes could be more efficient- we highly encourage employee feedback, and we wholeheartedly value our employees’ feedback

**This is a REMOTE position**
Job Duties:
- Prepare individual and business tax returns
- Review staff level tax and accounting work
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual bookkeeping and accounting projects
- Engage in client specialty work
- Assist with IRS and state tax authority correspondence
- Coordinate staff in regard to workflow, client management and other projects
- Be an active participant in developing firm processes and technology initiatives
- Manage, train, and communicate with staff virtually via email, internal messaging software, and video conferencing
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s in Accounting (or related field)
Certifications and Licenses:

Active Certified Public Accountant license in your state of residence
Experience:
- 3-5 years of relevant tax experience

2 years of management or supervisory experience
Skills:
- Willingness to learn- our industry changes on a regular basis and a healthy appetite for knowledge is necessary to be successful in this field

Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc.:
- Functioning knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Specialty knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online, UltraTax, Practice CS, other programs in the Thomsen Reuters suite, and Adobe
